Education at Fort Vancouver National Site

Fort Vancouver's sites offer a variety of programs for grades K-12 that meet curriculum standards in Washington and Oregon. These programs provide across-the-curriculum experiences that offer hands-on learning while celebrating the rich history and natural environment of the Pacific Northwest. Students visiting the sites are taught about the fur trade, early military life, pioneers in aviation, and natural history all in the context of the area’s role in regional and national development. We invite you to explore our unique programs and take advantage of the opportunity to bring your classroom lessons to life! Class Experiment
