The Facilities
The variety of buildings and spaces available for private and corporate events reflects the historically diverse nature of the site. From unique museum spaces to the classically elegant historic buildings, all fitted with the latest technologies, Fort Vancouver is the perfect setting for a business conference, reception or social event.

Availability
Our facilities are available 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday through Sunday.
Facilities are NOT available for rental on Independence Day (July 4), Thanksgiving Day (4th Thursday in November), or Christmas Day (December 25).
Facilities may be rented on the following dates for 150% of the weekday evening/weekend rates:

Special Discounts
Active military personnel (full time and reserve) receive 10% off rental fees; the renter must show military ID to receive the discount.
Nonprofit, non-political groups and recognized community associations receive 30% off rental fees from Monday through Thursday during non-business hours, and Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
Officers Row and West Barracks Tenants receive 25% off rental fees.
No discounts are granted for Political Candidacy Events, no matter who is the renting party.
Special discounts may be negotiated for groups renting multiple rooms for such events as seminars scheduled on a periodic or regular basis. Only one discount will apply to any room rental.
Artillery Barracks
Constructed in 1904, the
newly renovated Artillery Barracks originally housed 240 soldiers. Now, from the elegantly restored tin ceilings to the historically accurate white-oak hardwood floors and state-of-the-art audio visual equipment, each room offers an ideal setting for meetings, weddings, and celebrations.

Band Stand

Sometime after 1859 the U.S. Army constructed the post’s first bandstand on the parade ground for drill, parades and military band concerts. Though the original bandstand no longer exists, the reconstructed bandstand near the original site frequently hosts events. Electricity is available. Parking is limited. The nearest restrooms are at the park’s Visitor Center, which closes at 5:00 p.m. (March-October) and at 4 p.m. (November-February)

Evergreen Boulevard Arboretum
This petite arboretum is an intimate and attractive space that is ideal for very small weddings.

Grant House

Built in 1849, the Grant House began as a log structure and is the oldest building on Officers Row. Today it is a restaurant with additional outdoor seating in a garden setting.

Land Bridge
The Land Bridge, part of the Confluence Project, is available for run/walk events. This 40-foot-wide, earth-covered pedestrian bridge, lined with indigenous plants and Native basket weavings, reconnects historic Fort Vancouver with the Columbia River waterfront

Marshall House
Built as quarters for the post commander, the house was named for General George C. Marshall who served as commander of Vancouver Barracks from 1936-38. This elegant Queen Anne Victorian home is available for weddings, receptions, parties and other special events. A list of approved caterers will be made available to you.

O.O. Howard House
Situated in the Fort Vancouver National Site, the Howard House was built in 1879 for Civil War General, Oliver Otis Howard and today is headquarters of the Fort Vancouver National Trust. The Howard House can host meeting space or small receptions in our Education Conference Room or outdoor courtyard. Available amenities include audio/visual equipment, wi-fi hook up and coffee service.

Pearson Air Museum
The Pearson Air Museum is an extraordinary venue that will make a lasting impression on your guests. Hold your event in America's second oldest wood airplane hangar and enjoy rare World War II aircraft and fascinating aviation exhibits. The hangar is a sophisticated, unique space with spectacular architecture and a hip, industrial feel.

Picnic Shelter

The picnic shelter houses six picnic tables and can be opened up to provide access to the outdoors. Electricity is available. Adjacent to the shelter is a small playground and a parking lot with two accessible parking spots and ample parking. Picnic shelter users have access to the Visitor Center’s accessible bathrooms. The picnic shelter is available on a first come, first served basis during park operating hours, and no fee is charged during park hours. After hours a special use permit and an application fee are required.

- Availability: Year round after 5 p.m. (March-October) and after 4 p.m. (November-February)
- Capacity: Up to 60 people
Red Cross Community Room
Situated in the West Barracks, the Red Cross Convalescent House was built in 1918-1919 to provide a homey atmosphere for injured soldiers. Later it was used as a Service Club. Today the restored building hosts events in its large lounge featuring gleaming hardwood floors, fireplace and adjoining sun porch.
