The Fort Vancouver National Trust is pleased to offer an opportunity for interested organizations looking for ways to fundraise for their cause. The Go 4th Raise Funds fundraising campaign is a perfect opportunity to raise money while supporting the Independence Day at Fort Vancouver event.

Here's how it works:

Receive $1.00 for each general admission ticket sold by following these guidelines:
1. Register your non-profit organization to become an official ticket partner.
2. Complete a ticket order form and receive your batch of tickets.
3. Set-up an exclusive online ticket sale page and share the link with all your friends and family.
4. Sell tickets!
5. Turn in all sold ticket revenue and unsold tickets by June 15th.
6. Receive a check for $1.00 for every general admission, $5.00 for every adult prime viewing, and $3.00 for every under 21 prime viewing ticket sold, even donated tickets!

Go 4th Raise Funds Questions & Answers:

Q: What is the “Go 4th Raise Funds” campaign?
A: An opportunity for non-profit organizations to support this community event while earning money to support their own cause.

Q: How much are you asking people to give?
A: We are asking that people purchase ticket(s) at face value ($5) per ticket.  Groups selling the tickets will earn 20% of their sales, or $1/ticket.  Even if the buyer is not able to attend the event, they can purchase tickets for families in need that are distributed by our partnering organizations.

Q: Why are you charging this entry fee?
A: In order to cover the cost of the event a nominal fee for those 13 and older needed to be implemented.

Q: Are you trying to make money on this event?
A: This is a not-for-profit event that relies heavily on corporate donations, individual contributions, sales at the Official Independence Day at Fort Vancouver fireworks booths, and volunteers. The funds generated from ticket sales and the “Go 4th Raise Funds” campaign go directly toward covering the expense of providing this fun family event to our community.

Q: Who runs the event?
A: The Fort Vancouver National Trust, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization produces this event.

Q: How many years has this event been in existence?
A: This will be the 49th year of this extraordinary Independence Day celebration in Vancouver.

Q: How many people usually attend this event?
A: About 35,000 people attend this event. Thousands more watch the KGW NewsChannel 8 live broadcast of the event and listen to the simulcast on Alpha Broadcasting radio stations.

Q: What else goes on that day besides the fireworks display?
A: There will be live musical entertainment throughout the day starting at 12 p.m. with the “Sing 4th” local youth vocal contest. There is a full line-up of entertainment scheduled on multiple stages to begin at noon that will go until the fireworks start at 10:10 p.m. There are also food booths, arts and crafts booths, and organized field games  on the Parade Ground for youth. The Marshall House will be open, as well as Pearson Air Museum, Fort Vancouver, and the Historic Site Visitors Center. The Grant House Restuarant will also be operating. Please check the official program for details on the Independence Day at Fort Vancouver activities.
