We need 300 volunteers to help with Independence Day at Fort Vancouver! Check out the volunteer job descriptions, and let us know if you can help at the event on Monday, July 4th!

All Volunteers Receive:

Independence Day T-shirt
Free event entry pass ($5 value)
Free parking pass ($10 value)
Snacks & water at event
Volunteer training session

Gates/Admission
Sell and collect tickets at one of five entry gates

Information Booth
Greet visitors in our covered information booth or walk the site as a rover to distribute programs and give directions for event activities and stages

Shuttle Service Drivers
Drive a golf cart to transport volunteers from the volunteer check-in area to their assigned location

Parking Lot Attendants
Direct cars in our VIP parking lot next to the prime viewing area and sell parking spaces in our grass lot on 5th street

Adult Beverage Pavillion
ID checker, ticket sales, or server. Must be 21 or older

Garbage/Recycling
Help keep the event clean and trash areas orderly during event
