Visit the Marshall House

The Marshall House

Built in 1886, this elegant Queen Anne style house served as home to Brigadier General George C. Marshall and his wife, Katherine, from 1936 to 1938. Marshall commanded the Third Division's Fifth Brigade and the region's Civilian Conservation Corps camps while a resident here. The grandest house on the Row, the Marshall House is a free museum open to the public Monday through Friday and on select Saturdays. Knowledgeable docents lead private and group tours. The Marshall House is available to rent for special events including weddings, birthday parties and corporate parties.
